The company SEUR Logística has started its activity in a new logistics platform owned by the company Inurban in Monforte del Cid.

The logistical implementation has been planned by means of the BIM system, which provides a working methodology beyond traditional blueprint systems, encompassing design and execution, enabling design management and reducing operating costs.

Large outdoor spaces are essential for the manoeuvrability of large vehicles, which is why it has a 40-metre beach area.

The bolted steel structure allows for large areas free of support to facilitate internal operations. With a clear height of around 12 metres, an above-average storage volume is achieved. The design of the flooring is fundamental to take advantage of this height and provides flatness, stability and resistance.

The envelope combines insulation and safety, providing lighting in the roof area by means of skylights and ventilation by means of forced extraction systems that also guarantee smoke removal in the event of fire.

Lighting is essential, and an electrified LED rail system activated by presence sensors has been installed for greater energy efficiency.

The offices are functional and modern, with automatic regulation systems depending on environmental conditions.

In order to achieve greater optimisation and monitoring of the installations, it has been equipped with a control system (BMS) that allows access control, consumption, lighting, temperature and other facilities that make up the logistics.

As a result of the assessment during the design and construction phase, the building has been awarded the most internationally recognised certification for sustainable buildings, Silver LeedThe use of the new building, which indicates energy savings, increased productivity due to natural light conditions, thermal-acoustic comfort, ventilation, etc., and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions into the environment, thus protecting the ecosystem and biodiversity.
