Last week we had the pleasure of attending the General Assembly of the Family Business Association where some of the keys to the survival of the sector related to mental health in the professional field were announced.
From this Assembly we extract the words of the president of AMEFMUR, José María Tortosa, who highlighted the following:
José María Tortosa, president of AMEFMUR
"The path to overcoming the crisis in which we find ourselves requires common sense, economic orthodoxy and cost containment. We demand a vision of states that eliminates ideological and populist messages. For this, public-private collaboration is necessary. We, family businesses, are showing our face and showing that we are the driving force of our Region.”
During the day, the general director of Ibermutua, Carlos Javier Santos, offered the conference 'Analysis of Mental Health in Today's Society'. Santos emphasized «the importance of caring for people within organizations, the role of the risk prevention area and the relevance of applying people management policies».
Also participating in the opening ceremony were the Territorial Director of Banco Santander of Valencia and Murcia, Luis Rodríguez de la Fuente; and the Honorary President of Amefmur, Tomás Fuertes. The president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, was in charge of closing the event.
