Inurban collaborates once again this year in the VI Solidarity Race organised by Cirugía Solidaria

On 11 May, the streets of Murcia will host the sixth edition of the Solidarity Run and Walk organised by the NGO Cirugía Solidaria. A sporting event that has established itself as an important date in the calendar of popular races in the Region of Murcia, as it is part of the Running Challenge 2025 circuit.

Inurban is delighted to support this initiative once again this year, which brings together sport, citizen participation and solidarity. The race will have two distances: a competitive 10 kilometre race and a non-competitive 5 kilometre run/walk, both starting at 10:00 am from the vicinity of the Prince of Asturias Pavilion, on Avenida Juan Carlos I in Murcia.

Registrations can be made through the website www.famu.es, with a price of 12 € for the 10K race and 8 € for the 5K race. Discounts will also be applied for federated athletes.

The organisation has planned age categories, including a special category for people with functional diversity. In addition, the first three finishers in each category will receive trophies and awards. The race will be limited to a maximum of 1,000 runners and will have official timing, refreshments at km 5, a free left-luggage service and bibs will be handed out from 8:00 am on the same day.

A sporting event with a purpose

The NGO Cirugía Solidaria has been carrying out surgical missions in countries with scarce health resources for more than two decades. This race is one of the main means of raising funds to finance these medical expeditions and other cooperation activities.

Inurban encourages all runners, families and sports enthusiasts to join in this day, where every step becomes a gesture of support for a cause that saves lives.
