On Sunday 11 May, the streets of Murcia were filled with energy and commitment to solidarity with the 6th Run and Walk organised by the NGO Cirugía Solidaria. At Inurban, we are proud to have once again sponsored this event that combines sport, citizen participation and social responsibility.

A day of solidarity and sport

The event, which is part of the Running Challenge 2025 circuit, offered two modalities: a competitive 10 km race and a non-competitive 5 km walk. Both started at 10:00 a.m. from the vicinity of the Prince of Asturias Pavilion, in Avenida Juan Carlos I. The participation was remarkable, with runners of different ages and physical conditions, including a special category for people with functional diversity.

In the men's 10K category, the winner was Fran Ruiz, while in the women's category, Crozier Lea won. Both athletes demonstrated a high level of performance, being recognised along with the top three finishers in each category with trophies and prizes.

Supporting a vital cause

The NGO Cirugía Solidaria has been carrying out surgical missions in countries with limited health resources for more than two decades. The funds raised in this race are used to finance these medical expeditions and other cooperation activities. At Inurban, we reaffirm our commitment to initiatives that have a positive impact on society, in line with our corporate social responsibility values.

We thank all the participants, volunteers and organisers who made this event possible. Their enthusiasm and dedication are fundamental to the success of initiatives like this. At Inurban, we will continue to support projects that promote solidarity and community well-being.

Thank you for being part of this day of solidarity!
