The Inurban team had the opportunity to accompany users and families from the Kapaces Yecla association on a very special visit to Musgrave Spain's new logistics centre in Monforte del Cid. This project, developed by Inurban and inaugurated in May 2025, represents one of the most significant logistics milestones in the region due to its focus on efficiency, innovation and sustainability.
The visit was organised with a clear purpose: to bring Kapaces closer to the reality of a modern logistics centre, allowing users and their families to see first-hand how these facilities work, what impact they have on the region, and what kind of processes and technology lie behind one of the most important operators in the sector.
Thanks to the excellent organisation of the Musgrave team, attendees were able to tour the main areas of the centre and gain an accessible and intimate understanding of how the day-to-day running of an infrastructure of this magnitude is organised.
We would like to give special thanks to Victoria González Plá, Cristina Cremades (Human Resources) and Pedro José Hernández Aliaga (Supply Chain) for their kindness and support. The visit was guided by Francisco García, Director of Logistics, who gave a detailed explanation of each area of the warehouse, from the aisles of shelving and machinery areas to the cold rooms and operations spaces.
For Kapaces, this tour was an enriching experience, both educationally and personally, allowing users and families to discover new environments, broaden their perspective on business activity, and learn about a project that contributes decisively to the economic and social development of the area.
The centre, with 27,000 m² built on a 65,000 m² plot, stands out for its integration of advanced technology, intelligent management systems and a design geared towards operational efficiency. Its capacity to double the performance of the previous headquarters in Elche consolidates it as a benchmark in innovation.
It also incorporates measures that reinforce its commitment to sustainability:
These initiatives are directly linked to the values we promote at Inurban, committing to projects that bring real value to the region and respect the environment.
Kapaces' visit to Musgrave's logistics centre reflects an understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility based on proximity, inclusion and commitment to people.
For Inurban, this initiative is an example of how business projects can—and should—generate positive impact by opening their doors, sharing knowledge, and creating experiences that bring the reality of the sector closer to groups that are an active part of our community.
We would like to thank Musgrave Spain for their invitation, their friendliness and their dedication throughout the day.
And we thank Kapaces for the opportunity to accompany them in this experience, which is so meaningful for users and families.
At Inurban, we will continue to promote initiatives that connect the business community with society, promoting a model of responsible and purposeful growth.
We continue to develop projects that generate value for people and for the region.
