TeneaHome opens its first holiday apartments in Yecla and announces a second opening in the historic centre

Grupo Tenepa is launching nine flats on Calle Escuelas Pías, in a BREEAM-certified building developed by Inurban, and is moving forward with a new project in a 19th-century house on Calle San Antonio.

Yecla is introducing a new tourist accommodation option with the arrival of TeneaHome, Grupo Tenepa’s apartment brand, which has opened its first property in the town. The project comprises nine contemporary, fully equipped apartments with digital access, located on Calle Escuelas Pías.

The initiative was launched with a clear aim: to expand the range of accommodation in Yecla and adapt it to travellers’ changing needs, combining design, independence and sustainability.

First BREEAM-certified building in Yecla

The building, located at number 16 Calle Escuelas Pías, comprises nine flats divided into three types: Loft (open-plan studio-style), Standard (with a separate bedroom) and Plus (with a bedroom and a spacious living room). All can accommodate between two and four people and are equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, air conditioning and a digital access system with an electronic lock.

One of the project’s key distinguishing features is that the property is in the process of obtaining BREEAM certification, an international standard that assesses the environmental impact of buildings in areas such as energy efficiency, materials and comfort. Should it be successful, it would be the first building in Yecla to receive this accreditation.

The operating model is designed to give guests independence, with a fully digital check-in system that eliminates queues and allows direct access to the flat via an electronic code.

New project in a historic 19th-century house

As part of its growth plan for the city, TeneaHome has announced a second location on Calle San Antonio, right in the heart of the historic centre. The project involves the refurbishment of a 19th-century house to create 17 new holiday flats.

This forthcoming opening will combine the preservation of the building’s historic character with a contemporary approach to design, facilities and the user experience.

With both locations now operational, TeneaHome will have a total of 26 flats in the centre of Yecla, consolidating its position within the local tourism sector.
